What's the cut?
8% on the service + travel portion. We don't touch tips. Stripe handles processing fees (~2.9% + 30¢) on top, same as any card-present industry.
Do I need a license?
Yes — most service categories require state licensure. We verify it during application. If your state doesn't license your service (e.g. some braiding work), tell us during apply.
Can I do this part-time?
Most pros do. Set your weekly hours to whatever fits, take vacation blocks anytime, accept only the bookings you want.
What about taxes?
You're an independent contractor. Stripe issues your 1099-K once you cross the threshold. We surface a year-end earnings summary you can hand straight to your accountant.
Insurance?
Bring your own — we don't supply liability coverage. If a client's claim against you is filed in-app, we'll cooperate with discovery.
Can I bring my existing clients onto the app?
Please do. Once you're approved, share your @handle — they book through the app, you keep the relationship, the platform handles the money.
